I've had my ring for a few weeks now, and am very satisfied with it. I had searched for a good quality jade ring for years. Fact is they are very difficult to find. Jewelers have told me they can't get good ring quality jade any more, so a custom ring solution was even out of the question. This jade is a very nice quality. Fabulous green that looks a little bit like the buttery emperors jade in South America, and is somewhat translucent. Light shining on it makes it seem to almost glow. Very nice effect.

This ring band is not bad. I would have preferred a 10KT gold, as I am rough on the softer gold. 14KT pure is fairly easy to scratch. The gold is not very heavy or thick, and the underside of the stone is open. I mention this because some people find that structural shape uncomfortable and fuss about it cutting into the finger. I personally don't find that a problem with this ring. But there it is. Not at all surprising since gold is so expensive now, and they had to keep it thin to keep the price down. I would have liked it thicker, but didn't really want to pay several hundred dollars more for it. So I am happy with the compromise.

For the price this ring is a great deal. Jade rings are expensive and I had expected to pay this price for a Silver band. And the Jade stone is large and very noticable. I'm extremely happy with it.
