These are excellent, heavy-duty yet light gold pans. For those new to panning, the ridges help the process, especially for the "newbies." Note that Gold pans come in several sizes. Since the weight of the water can tire the wrists, I prefer the 10 inch size (which these are).

Around the next bend in the stream lies a fortune. Then I'll have my Butler write a review for me.. My back hurts, and my neck is sore from looking over my shoulder. I bought a Donkey.Grew a beard, the Donkey didn't reconize me and kicked me. Local ordinance outlawed Donkey. Amazon did not have cook book with a Donkey recipe in it, so had to give it away. So far this pan has cost me $485.80, but my pan has survived, very sturdy.

This is way too high priced. There's a person on Ebay selling the same 10" Black Gold Pan for $9.75 including shipping. Their handle is "gold_valley_5", also sells the 13.5" size for a cheap price & other mining/prospecting supplies
