5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle vs. Heart, November 25, 2005
This review is from: Gold Rush 2002: Canada's Olympic Hockey Team (DVD)
A must have for any Canadian hockey fan. When there was no hockey last year I must've watched this ten times. A behind the scenes look at how the Gretter and company put together the golden boys. And what about the Gold rush of 1980? That was 26 years ago and we still hear about it like it happened yesterday. Give the country that created the game a moment in the sun, I know it's hard too because Canadian players and teams make miracles happen on a daily basis, but that's because we rely on our hearts (oops, I've given away the secret to Canadian hockey). I mean seriously, what do you want, a Disney sequel to Miracle?

5.0 out of 5 stars What about the Gold Rush of 1980?, March 4, 2005

This review is from: Gold Rush 2002: Canada's Olympic Hockey Team (DVD)
The Gold Rush 2002: Canada's Olympic Hockey Team is great! But what about the 1980 "Miracle (Widescreen Edition) on Ice" Men's hockey team who competed at the 1980 Winter Olympics at Lake Placid, NY? From the training camp all the way to the come from behind wins against the then mighty Soviet Union and then the Gold Medal clincher against Finland two days later?

Both are proud moments for North American hockey!
