You will never find better socks than these.

They last for years, they are very comfey, and

most importantly...they never fall down.

The size and style was right, but I was expecting a thicker sock. The socks stay up great, but I am not getting the cushioning I was expecting.

Ive worn them on a daily basis for months.... they take a washing and stay black for a long time...... they get a pounding in skates and athletic shoes and keep my feet dry and feeling great.....

These socks are really comfortable and they really stay up! All other brands of over-the-calf socks that I have tried won't stay over-the calf. Within a few hours, other socks are sitting on my shins. I have worn pairs of the Gold Toe Over the Calf Athletic Sock for up to 24 hours and the most they slid down my leg was about an inch. Great socks!

As a long time wearer of Gold Toe Socks I am not surprised at the quality. I wear western boots and the additional thickness of these athletic socks is just right.

These socks are warm, comfortable, durable and possibly most important of all, they won't fall down!

These socks are long enough to go up to your knee. Warm, comfortable and wearing well. I will buy more.

These are great socks and an excellent value. I get cold feet easily, and these socks help a lot.

I bought these socks for my older son when I was looking for long black socks for a costume. They are thick and heavy and fit snugly so they stay up. Note though that they are quite snug fitting and not very stretchy. I would say that they wouldn't be very comfortable for a man with larger ankles and calves. I think that a man with a size 12 1/2 shoe size would find these a little too tight for comfort on his foot, too. They definitely don't work for a man who wears a size 13 shoe - guess how I know this???

They actually stay over the calf and are not cheaply made (good durability and comfort stays around). Incrementally I threw out all my old socks & replaced them with these, and I'll just re-buy as these do go and stick with them.
