Gold Toe makes the best socks I've ever worn, and I've been buying them for as long as I can remember. Normally I would get the cotton crew socks but decided to give these a try. These are a medium heavy cotton sock that fits well and will probably last forever. They may seem a bit loose at first, but one washing will pull them back into shape and keep them up. Furthermore, they are a little thicker than normal socks, but not as thick as a wool rag. So, consider how your shoes fit before getting these. If they are snug, these sock will just make them snugger. Finally, I like the color selection on these socks.

Oh, yeah. Believe it or not, Gold Toe has a fantastic customer service department. I sent them some digital photos of some socks I can't find anymore and they matched them up. That, and Amazon's prices are worth 5 stars right there.

I am absolutely thrilled to realize that I can buy Gold Toe Cotton Fluffies from Amazon. I now have no reason to go to a department store in a mall ever again.

It is particularly exciting to order more than $25 of socks in a single order and then track their (free) shipping by UPS all the way from Coffeyville, Kansas to my home in Massachusetts by way of such exotic stops as Oklahoma City, OK, and Earth City, MO.

I ordered 3 each of the new Denim Heather and 3 of the Olive. I also ordered two of the less-expensive three-packs in Navy and Black.

I love the name Denim Heather, and I am really excited about wearing these to work on Monday morning.

The Olive socks were not as green as I expected: they are really a shade of Brown. I own many pairs of Brown Cotton fluffies and I fear that sorting my laundry in artificial light may prove difficult now with the inclusion of two shades of Brown socks. Time will tell.

I loved my first order of Gold Toe Socks so much that I purchased more. They are thick enough that I can remain comfortable at work. I am a nurse and wear these for each hectic 13-hour work day. Even though they are thick, my feet feel like they can breathe and the socks seem to wick the sweat away efficiently enough that my feet aren't wet at the end of the day. That's very different than the socks I used to wear.

Pricewise, these are cheaper than I saw for the same socks at Costco, plus you get free shipping and no tax when you purchase on Amazon.

Be warned all you Gold Toe Men's Cotton Fluffies fans - things are not what they used to be!
I have worn G T's Men's Cotton Fluffies in oatmeal for over 20 years. I loved the quality, comfort, color and durability. These were outstanding socks in every way.
Alas, they are no more. I should have been warned by an earlier reviewer (Beware! Wrong Color Wrong Price) who suggested that Gold Toe had found another manufacturer
in a different country (Pakistan)to produce their product and that the quality and color were decidedly inferior - but I proceeded to purchase anyway, although not from
Amazon Prime as usual but from Shoe Buy an outside Amazon vendor who now appears to be the only source for them. BIG MISTAKE!

If any Gold Toe executive is reading this please take note - your new product cannot hold a candle to the earlier version. Please bring the original back!
You will lose your faithful customers with this inferior shoddy product. What is the world coming to? BUYER BEWARE!!

I've been wearing "oatmeal" colored GoldToe Cotton Fluffies for years, and bought some of these here online because my local store is out of stock.

How hard could it be, the picture looks exactly like the socks I wear, and the color matches the saved label. Two seconds later, the socks are on their way. A short three days later, the socks arrive, and.. Wait a minute, these don't look anything like the socks I ordered! These aren't the varigated two-color "oatmeal" I was expecting, they're just off-white tan. I can live with that, but the kicker was they came with stickers announcing the price was less than what I paid!

The socks have an attached very legit-looking GoldToe labels say "Made in Pakistan", style 565S, color 027 "oatmeal", and also have a cute "3 Pair, $16.00" sticker (I paid almost $7/pair with shipping). Either GoldToe's quality is slipping, or these are some kind of overstock/reject/odd-lot. Buyer beware!

I am very unsatisfied with my purchase. I was led to believe that I purchased two 6pk of socks and when I received my order, it was only two pair of socks.

Once the tops of these socks get stretched a little, they'll no longer stay up. They'll simply fall down around your ankles.

Great socks, but as mentioned in another review, they are not very green - more a brownish tone. If you really need a green sock, this probably isn't it. Ordered for my spouse to wear with his olive Keen sandals, and they are fine together.

I've always worn Gold Toe socks so what can you say they last forever and nothing's changed. It's easy to purchase through Amazon and you usually get and good deal and free shipping if you're lucky. The only disapointment with this order is that I paid $6.00 ea. and when the socks arrived each pair had a sticker on them that said 3/$15. So this time it appears I could have done better or they could have removed the sticker and I never would have known. Thanks for letting me vent Tom Proctor.

Received the socks and found the thickness more than what I was expecting.
I was looking for a lightweight easy on & off sock. Instead I received much thicker material and nothing that could be described as "fluffy".
