These socls help support those people who have trouble with circulation or pain in their legs, especially standing all day for work. As an interior designer & salesman, I am on my feet most of the day. Having had circulatory troubles in my extremities due to medication as a youth, these socks provide the support needed to keep the pain from settling into my legs--and are definitely business friendly (not like white medical hose, even under other socks. I occasionally must remove my shoes (to prevent scuffing or marking new carpeting or woodwork, for instance)--and these socks look perfect when having to be in front of clients in my stocking feet. Hard to find in retail stores now, so amazon is a great provider--especially with enough ordered to qualify for free shipping. Great basic color selection as well. Socks last a good while with simple laundering also!

I have used Gold Toe Support hose for more than 20 years. They are very effective at decreasing swelling and preventing leg pain. They wash well. Don't put them in the drier for longer life of the spandex, and they will actually last for years. I have a small different colored thread put into each pair to identify them as pairs when they are washed.

I am totally satisfied with my Gold Toe socks. They give great support to my legs and feet.

These are very comfortable and supportive, but the price varies significantly depending on whether they are sold by Amazon or one of its third-party suppliers. Amazon is cheaper and they qualify then for free shipping, But they are not always in stock. I found the price to vary by $5 from one day to the next!

Very comfortable and effective men's support sox. At $9 per pair they are the most inexpenive I have seen. Cost $12 at JC Penny. Free shipping made them even more attractive.

My doc told me to wear stretch socks especially on long flights. I find them to be comfortable if a little awkward to put on. I haven't had them long enough to determine how they will stand up to repeated washing, but so far so good. They seem to be doing their job.
