These are flat-out the best casual socks on earth. Quality, long-wearing, generous-sized (for ladies with a "certain size" shoe) in hard-to-find breathable cotton that does not slide down or gather in the arch like polyester socks do. Denim color is perfect match for blue jeans.

I love these socks. For a few years, I have bought them at JC Penney's, but this year, they did not have the color I like -- stone. The Gold Toes website also does not show these socks in stone, just black and white, so I figure that stone-colored socks are no longer being made. That's why I bought 2 dozen pair.

The socks are very soft, comfortable, and cozy, not too tight or too loose. I will miss them when they are gone. The photo that goes with this review may show the so-called "khaki"-colored sock. The stone sock is lighter in color and goes really well with most khaki or chino pants. The khaki-colored sock is too dark for most khaki or chino pants.

Good quality sock, but not really plus size in the ankle/leg area. Did not seem stretchy enough. I will have to pass them on to my boys who wear 8 men's size.

I bought what I thought was 3 packages of gold toe socks from this website for $10. What I got was 3 pairs of socks-that's $10 per pair, when the retail price on the tag was $5!.When I complained to Amazon, I got an email back telling me that I was receiving a refund of $15, so now I was paying exactly the retail price on the socks-but only getting 3 pair when I needed 9 pair. I wrote back and never got any response.

Be warned! Now I see that they are doing the same thing. $5 socks are being advertised at 3 for $7.50, but if you check carefully when you try to buy them, you are really agreeing to pay $7.50 per pair for $5 socks.
Since Amazon is refusing to respond to my follow up complaint, I guess I will have to buy the other six pair of socks from a different website or go to my local store to buy them. Incredible!

So pleased to find the shades of color offered in this great sock.

Many of us wear loafers and clogs. Sometimes, white and black socks just don't fit into the color scheme of our clothes. Oatmeal is a great shade to be worn with khakis. Keep making this shade and khaki color, too

I have been trying for at least a year to purchase a good unexpensive cotton sock to no avail and these are excellent. The socks fit 100% of my desires except they are kind of expensive.

These socks came with a manufacturer tag showing the price as 3 for $12. The socks are fine (although a little thinner than I expected), but there are surely better values around.

I just bought these socks and they are very good in fit, shape and appearance. But I thought they might be warmer and thicker. They are just the right thickness for warm or spring weather, not for winters. They fit very nicely and do not roll or become loose on toes, do not gather in the shoe and keep their shape well after washing.

As I have said before, I am an underwear and sock freak and cannot have enough of any. I have worn Gold Toe for years and in fact they are the only "everyday" type of crew sock I will wear. I have numerous pair in each of their colors and wish they made them in even more colors. These socks wear well, wash well and fit perfectly. There is no sagging. I run and bike a lot and when crew socks are required, you just cannot beat these things. These socks are always soft, right out of the bag and always fit like a glove. I wear jeans a lot along with chinos and these are perfect.
The price here is certainly right and with my insatiable appetite for socks and the need to watch the dollars a bit closer, you just cannot go wrong here. I do find that buying them a dozen at a time is best. Nothing quite replaces the feel of a new pair of socks.

I purchased these socks as a gift for my daughter. She has worn them before and loves them. She had them on her wish list for Christmas.
