Larry's Pizza was pure Love. How bad can his book be?!,

Goldberg's was the greatest pizza NYC has ever seen!!! Pie pan deep, lots of sauce, amazing topings. Basically Chicago style but better than any pizza I've ever had in Chicago (so far).I first ate there as a kid - my parents took me on my birthday. Years later I used to eat there once a week. I can still smell the oregano and basil and they've been closed at least 10 years. Larry sold the place to his chef, a super nice Irish guy, who I assume closed the joint when their building was sold and demolished for yet another overprised manhattan high rise. I would love to know if he opened another place and has attempted to keep up the fine tradition. Feel free to email me if you know any more about Goldbergs!! Thank you Larry Goldberg!!!! |
