The Brothers Four magic is still there in the voices of the singers, but the album is quite disappointing. First of all I think the choral backing by the Sno-King Community Chorale is more of a distraction than enhancement. Also, for a live performance recording to mean anything, it should have some words spoken by the group: at least the opening remarks at the first concert and some words spoken by the group members; after all this was the golden anniversary and surely they would feel like saying something. Otherwise the applause and other noises are just meaningless noises.

I have almost all the Brothers albums both USA and Japanese. They have given me musical memories for almost 50 years.
This cd with some new members captures all the 50 years of great folk music. I hope Bob Flick will release the
Japanese lps on compact discs.

I recently rediscovered The Brothers Four after trying to find a cd that includes "Try To Remember" which I listened to growing up in the 70's. This cd includes not only that song but also "Greenfields", "Green Leaves of Summer" and two songs that I have not heard before: "Seven Daffodils" and "Four Strong Winds". These are my NEW favorites now! Loved this CD. It is upbeat, fun and nostalgic..a reminder of the good-old days of yesteryears!

I really enjoy the Brothers Four and found this was a trip down memory lane. I truly enjoyed hearing their voices once more. There was a pretty good assembly of their music though I found I wanted more. Still well worth the money to add to your collection.

Their guitar work has matured and developed. Some of the vocal phrasing has changed a bit. I can't tell if it's a new way of telling their songs or if it's an accomodation to vocally reach notes. Either way it's a richer, fuller, more resonant result.

Discovered these guys and Simon and Garfunkle in high school and loved folk music ever since. Don't care for country, some country-rock is ok i.e. Taylor Swift and a few others. No opera please!

Just love the Brothers Four. Saw them in concert several months ago. Glad to have their recording and listen to it often.

I really love this CD and never get tired of listening to this very talented group. Wish they were still performing.
