We will be celebrating my niece's First Holy Communion this weekend and I wanted to get her a Bible. She is only 7 years old, and I would like for her to get really interested on learning about the Bible so I thought this would be a good choice, I love My Golden Children's Bible, It has beautiful pictures, with the most Important passages that kids should know, big print makes it easy to learn and practice their reading.The pages are that kind of thick cardboard like books for toddlers and Im glad because that warranties a longer life in a 7 y/o hands! I know she will love it too! I recommend it for younger kids.

I love this bible because the pictures are very beautiful and not too "babyish" like a lot of kids' bibles. It is a great "church book" to distract my little toddler so he is at least looking at religious pictures instead of squirming and trying to run onto the alter!;-)My son received this as a present and now I buy this for all my friends and family for baptismal gifts.
