life is but a dream,

evidently, the great vocal harmony days have lost their fans, alas. The Harptones are as wonderful as they come, I'm telling you, from the doo-wop shop of don k. reeve and the night train or wherever from out in the dust haze these great songs fly back from. Let 'em in because the lost night they come from will do your soul good. The rarest type of gems in pop music: the forgotten ability to harmonize basic r n b with the innocence of people who actually ACTUALLY sang on street corners. four stars and god bless 'em.

Other than The Moonglows, The Dells and The Flamingos, no group could beat The Harptones. I'm so thrilled I found this one through Amazon! If you're an Doo Wop fanatic like I am, you'll love the Amazon selection.
