Jonathan Wyatt, a tough Texas soldier of fortune, was drinking pulque in a tiny Mexican tavern, totally unaware of his dramatic destiny. of the fact that America was about to declare war on Mexico. Wyatt was to be one of the first men to go into action against the legions of the fabulous Santa Ana, President of Mexico and Generalissimo of her armies.
