8 of 10 people found the following review helpful By Alex Podlecki on June 3, 2000
Format: Audio CD
Although Vee-Jay released 20 singles by the Spaniels over the years with almost all having 2 good or better sides, this compilation of 24 tracks contains only 16 different songs by the Spaniels. I like "Goodnight, Sweetheart, Goodnight" and "Peace Of Mind", but 3 versions of each in 1 CD is rediculous. Save your money and wait for a real collection of Spaniels music.

I don't think any of these songs were the original recordings. I grew up listening to the Spaniels and had most of their 45's. I think the phase on the cover is misleading "Now in Full Digital" would lead you to believe these were re-mastered originals. If I saw this in the $5.00 pile at Walmart, I wouldn't buy it. The "I know, I know" also was not the popular version. I did read but ignored the other review before I purchased it. My stupidity. The acappella versions were okay or I would have given it one star. Hopefully there are some better Spaniel CDs out there.
