[...] Let it be known that 100% of the proceeds of the sales of this book have been donated to the Steinbeck Library in Salinas CA. The entire book was illustrated by the Steinbeck Kindergarten class (class of 2005.) They did this to help their community stop the closing of their city libraries. They were read the story and the images came alive in their minds and instantly we had the illustrations to complete our book. I haven't met a child yet that hasn't enjoyed this book. Thank you,
