3.0 out of 5 stars Where's the ending?, June 16, 2002

To be absolutely fair, I must say that I loved the book. It was a great read, kept my interest, had good character development, etc. The only thing wrong with it is that it just ended - period. No loose ends tied up, no completion. So, aside from that fact that I really enjoyed the read, I would have like to have had a whole book rather than an ending that puts me in mind of meeting a deadline.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hogtied, March 13, 2006

This review is from: Golden Lasso (Hardcover)
I haven't finished this yet but it is about the most empty of plot of any book I have read. I knew waaay before lame-brained Jan did that Derek and Andrea were siblings rather than betrothed. She never asked any questions at all and when she did she didn't wait for answers. Like who was Nick, why did Derek know so much about kids needing to learn to walk again and what to do for them. Poor little damsel just kept having problems and the hero would show up to rescue her. Go out riding in the desert without telling anyone, don't take water, doesn't know what time it is, evidently doesn't own a watch, expects her horse to patiently wait for her to wake up. Please!. Was this a first attempt at writing? Pass this one up

3.0 out of 5 stars Golden Lasso, good until the end, June 22, 2005
This book was a very good read, and up until the end I was completely hooked. I read it in one day. Unforunately the ending was terrible, because it just ended in 1 or 2 paragraphs. She was crying and then all of a sudden she was in love. Other then the ending the book was good, but it left me longing to know, well what happened after that? It never really ended. I wouldn't suggest reading it without having a great imagination so you can make your own ending up.
