Cristina Garcia grew up and currently resides in Sweetwater, a small town in West Texas, which probably explains her desire to explore new worlds. She is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science. Writing since childhood, she only recently began writing professionally, publishing work in several poetry anthologies. The Golden Mage is her first published novel. She is currently working on her second novel

I really enjoyed this book. Though in some parts the proof reading seemed hasty, the well-drawn characters, extensive back story, compelling plot and thrilling adventures won out over anything else. I practically devoured this book, and hope that someday more books set in this universe will be available!
