This limited edition book features, in detail, methods for the husbandry and captive breeding of the wonderful Madagascan frog - the Golden Mantella (Mantella aurantiaca). The book is written in an informative but easy-to-understand manner and is based upon the authors experience of maintaining these frogs in captivity for 12 years. One of the most detailed sections is the photographic diary of the successful rearing of the eggs through to tadpoles and then newly-metamorphosed froglets on a day-by-day basis. There is also be a selection of monochrome and colour photographs along with line art from the pencil of brilliant artist Paul Benson (who illustrated Richard Griffiths' book 'Newts and Salamanders of Europe' (Poyser)).
