Wore this boot for the first time to go atving and it is very comfortable and looks very good. The trail involved crossing rivers and mud and it handled well in both. I even walked through water and on large river rock and it did not slip at all. Most importantly boot only got wet on the inside when it was submerged and the water drained out as soon as I came out, no slushiness when I walked with them wet. All in all Great price Great boot. Buy one.

Got these for my 13 year old son.. to wear hiking, working, or fishing .. and he thinks they are great.. super comfortable.. they do look a lil wide in the front .. which he says doesn't bother him but just a warning they aren't super fitted like a merrell or another comparable hiker.. On thee golden retriever site it specifies this is to reduce injury to the front of the foot... and for the record that is a non metal protective toe.. so it does not conduct electricity and it is super light .. Thanks for the good deal Amazon.. :D

My Golden Retriever puppy is the BEST! And these Hiking Boots are too! This is an exceptionally well-made boot which is sturdy, comfortable and worth twice the price. The bottom and toe are solid and the upper is strong but breathes very well so your feet don't come up sweaty and stinky after hours on the trail. These boots deal with the most rugged terrain while protecting your precious tootsies from rocks, stones and all things jagged. Yes, I wish they came in basic black, but get over it Edith, this aint no Edsel!
