As far as the boots go, they're great! Excellent fit and comfortable. You need to know that there are two different Golden Retreiver Waterproof Hiking Boots - one insulated and one not. Amazon advertises this boot as being insulated. It is NOT the insulated version. I had to send them back and order them elsewhere because they did not have availability to the insulated version. The insulated boot is #7034. These are #7033.

These boots are great. I have not been hiking in them yet- but will be in 2 weeks. However, I do wear them at work. I work at a nursery, so I am always outside in the elements and they have been perfect.
They are very sturdy and offer extreme protection to your feet.
The color isn't as orange as they appear in the pictures, more of a dark buckskin.

Great boots, was looking for a hiking style boot with the qualities of a good hunting boot. These boots have it all, Warm, waterptoof, ease of getting on and off and excellent slip resistant lug soles for the 3rd snowest season on record in my state. Boots are fantastic they are very comfortable to wear and work great when the snow is not real deep but you still need a boot to weather the elements, love the boot!!!

I bought these on Black Friday so I got them so cheap with free shipping it was a steal. I had an infected toe when I got them and I couldn't believe I could wear these with no pain. Your feet wont sweat indoors, they are super comfortable and you wont even have to break them in. I live in the far north and these are much warmer than I expected. They are great in snow and on slippery surfaces also. They look great. I liked these so much I bought a 2nd pair for my father in-law for Christmas at full price which is still a deal.
