I had such a hard time finding a CD just like this one. How ironic that I actually came across it purely by accident. I ordered an Enya CD from another site and they accidentally sent me this one instead. Unlike many other cliche albums that say that they have medieval music on them, but are chock full of classical songs that are by romantic-period composers... this album actually has medieval songs. Yes, you heard me right. This album is full of medieval style music with flitting lyres and crisp flutes. These songs bring me back to another time filled with lavish banquets inside great golden halls, while still carrying a romantic charm. If you're like me and love day-dreaming while listening to beautiful instrumental music..the sort of music that gives you chills down the spine just because it's so beautiful...this album will definitely get your imagination going.
Quick Note - More good medieval music will most likely be found at your local medieval and/or renaissance festival.
