Finally a definite memo about the future of R&B, and finally an album from this future that sounds like one body of work. This album is heavily electronic, bass heavy, and complex rhythm structures, with ethereal textures throughout. Exactly what I was looking for. You hit play, and forget about it; because every song works together. In fact you barely hear the breaks, although you feel different as it changes. To reiterate there's barley any breaks. Make love, make war, contemplate, ride a sailboat and feel the breeze, or plan your next take-over. You can do it with this album. Just don't expect to be unchanged. Expect to feel something... Expect to me more alive than when you 1st hit play.

Dawn knocked the ball out of the park. I bought the EP and couldn't connect with it. There were too many fist pumping beats and seemed a little rigid. But not Goldenheart!!!! This album is great. Every song flows into the next. It sounds like an hour long song...in a good way. The flow is never broken to make you ask yourself why the heck was that song placed there. None of that. Dawn's sultry voice capitivates you and takes you on a ride until the very end. She rides the beat perfectly and the lyrics are thought provoking. I watched a youtube interview of her with the Power 105 crew. Dawn is the same person. Very humble and honest. When I found out that this fantastic album is independent, I wanted to support her even more. Keep doing ya thang ma!!!!

I wish I had more hands so I could give this album 4 thumbs up!!!!!

Dawn is definitely a musical package that has been underrated and underappreciated for the LONGEST time. However, I'm glad she has triumped and moved forward and stepped in the building with this album effort.

The album is simply unique, free spirited and a good package of music. Kind of threw me off with some of the production; however, I opened up and respected the direction of being eclectic and not to have expected to just do what was initially expected. Her musical partner Druski has given her the door to flourish as a vocalist, writer and producer and I hope he keeps that door wide open, especially for the next two album efforts forthcoming in the next years as planned.

*Riot, *86, *Tug of War, *Northern Lights, *Frequency, *Break of Dawn, and *Pretty Wicked Things are the tracks that stand out for me.

Should you buy the album? If you are open-minded and value quality music beyond just "what's expected" or "what's on the radio", YES! Open up your GOLDENHEART!

I love that Dawn Richard has taken creative control of her music and is delivering up some innovative and refreshingly deep music moreso than anything Danity Kane ever did. The album is spiritual and uplifting, Dawn is on another level keeping true to herself and the passion shows through in spades. Standout tracks for me include: Goliath, Pretty Wicked Things, Frequency, Tug Of War, Warfaire, 86 and Break of Dawn. The theme of the music is overcoming obstacles, spirituality and relationships. I hope Dawn continues this trend and tops even this great album!

I'm not a fan of every single track on the album but Dawn Richard put in a thousand dreams worth of work all over the vocals. "Gleaux" is the climax of everything she has done so far. It goes from a simple make you want to clap it up track to a I'm about to dance my ass off dramatically track. I've been replaying that song everyday ever since I downloaded it & it's a sure in for Top 5 of 2013 with out a doubt. The rest of the album keeps the sound & style in tact but it's not really high strung on the variety list. Even though I find majority of it, what I call; "Stereo Medicine". The way she sings over the album, it's blatant she has a "Goldenheart" & I believe that it's going to stay polished forever...

The fact that this woman released this album independently, co-wrote the album, and has had music industry struggles makes her a force to be reckoned with. This girl wants to make it to the top, and you hear it in every single lyric of every song. She pours her heart and soul into this album and the result is musical genius. I've never been in love with an entire album before, but her unique voice, and amazing writing ability with awesome producing makes this album untouchable. Do yourself a favor, purchase this album and SUPPORT REAL TALENT

Goldenheart is here and I must say its an album listen not just single tracks! The story unfolds song by song and after a couple listens the methaphors will translate into something we all can use some more of: strength and encouragement! Dawn has a very unqiue way of singing some lines that almost sound like an instrument in its own! i abs fell in love w armor on and whiteout as eps they were great intros into her sound and brand of truly innovative music that is here to stay hopefully! Dawn ur hearts love u cant wait for pt 2!
