My daughter was is a fan of the show so I bought it for her along with some other books for Christmas. The interactive elements of the show do not translate well into a book and there are no super letters to look out for - so no 'super story answer'. To me the story seems rather abbreviated and disjointed. However the text is supplemented with some reoccurring pictures, so the child can help you 'read' through picture recognition. I guess it makes it interactive but not sure how this helps them learn how to read (though no doubt educationalists would have an answer!). My daughter enjoys the book when we read it, but I wouldn't say its a big 'favourite'. She doesn't choose it very often.

My 3.75 year old son got this from Santa for Christmas. We read 4 books before bed every night and this has been a selection most nights since Christmas. He is learning to read, so we read it together. He likes the mix of pictures and words. It reads just like an episode of the show, which my son and I are both fans of. So, if you like the show, you will like this book.

Like others have stated if your kids like super why they they will like these books. I bought several of these in the series and my kids love singing the jingle from the show as it I read it in the book. The pull out flaps work great but can be torn easily if your little one isn't careful. The books are written after different episodes and follow the episode very closely. My only gripe about these books is that the text is very small, I'm in my 30's and if the lighting isn't good I have a hard time reading them. It gets worse when I'm tired and trying to read after a long day. Other than that they are a hit with the kids.

This book is great for any Super Why fan, my daughter loves that with the pictures she can help read at two years old! It is a good book and easy for a toddler to read and remember.
