Gold's Gym Bench
The Gold's Gym Bench is the perfect home weight bench. Has adjustable positions, adjustable arms, looks "cool," folds up in a couple of minutes to stand like an ironing board in a closet, and in its upright position even serves as a comfortable TV chair for former couch potatoes in between workouts.

Difficult to assemble, but otherwise a fine, sturdy bench
This is a great machine if you have the room. Reviewers said it takes :10 minutes to put together and can fold under a bed. Not true. It takes an hour to assemble and is not easy. I have very little spare space and the reason I purchased it was because I thought it folded. It's a sturdy, terrific bench, great for incline, decline, flat and situp exercising, provided you...

I just purchased this bench, and am very happy with it. The reviewer who stated it took an hour to put it together either didn't have the instructions (which still would not have made it take that long), or is reviewing the wrong bench.Pros: Quick assembly Folds Up Arms lock underneath if not in use (My wife uses them, but I use dumbells) Sturdy but fairly light Cons: Doesn't lock when collapsed Must remove shin bar to close flat It's a good lokking piece of equipment.

I really felt bad returning it but I needed something I can fold up, so I purchased the Marcy unit which is completely collapsible.

Icon customer service is AWFUL,

The product went together fine and works well. The workout DVD that came with the product was carscked. I called Icon customer service for a replacemnet DVD. Gave them the part number for the DVD so they could order it, they said they would get it ordered. Later on I get an e-mail telling me to take it bakc to the store and returm it for another. This is all do to the fact that they dont make or assmbly the product here and they dont have parts for it. So basically if you by an Icon product they cant get parts for their machines. They dont honor there warranty and they suck at customer service. I wont buy another Icon product ever again all over a cracked DVD and sucky customer service!
