I acutally bought this CD solely to have the track "Hey Big Spender" since it is missing from the "Little Voice" soundtrack. Wow! This CD has two great versions of Goldfinger, which I never get sick of, and a really fun, little-heard song called "The Liquidator" which is in the James Bond-60's-Goldfinger style (it was actually the title track from a movie that was a parody of spy movies). That song it running through my head right now. It says in the liner notes that Bassey once said, "Marilyn Monroe has said she can't help the way she walks with a wiggle. Well, I can't help the way I sing with a wiggle." I love it.

This cd contains all of Bassey's best known songs including the bond themes from Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever and the hard to find Moonraker as well as all her UK hits and several tracks previously unavailable in the US. Highlights include Never, Never, Never and Something from the 70's and This Is My life and Big Spender from the 60's. All these original recordings show Bassey at her peak and the production and re-mastering are excellent. This collection is vastly superior to the re-recordings of her hits produced in the 1980's.

The truely great Shirley Bassey! You won't go wrong with this one.

The title of the song you're looking for is simply NATALIE. Sometimes you'll find the title without the "E", but it's the same song. I'm sure it will help you.
Even if I rated this CD with 5 stars, I can't make any comment on it because I did not listen to it. But a Shirley Bassey's CD can't be a bad one.

I am really looking for a particular song sung by Ms. Bassey. Of course I cannot recall the name, but in the lyrics it has something like "Natalie, you are young, you are free. You don't love him and you never will......" Can you or someone please let me know the name of this song. Thank you.

Shirley is fabulous and this recording does not do her justice. I wish there were some way to send this back. Such poor sound quality on most tracks. I read the other glowing reviews of this CD. Did I get a "bad" one? She deserves better.
