4.0 out of 5 stars A look at the British Open courses, November 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Golf, As It was in the Beginning by Michael J. Fay is a coffee table book packed with photographs of the various British Open courses. Mr. Fay has selected 18 holes from all the courses and uses his descriptions of the holes to give the reader a feel for what the courses look like and how they might play. He describes what makes the holes so outstanding, what obstacles a golfer would face, and how the top players would play each hole. The photographs of the courses are beautiful, but the narrative is a little less impressive.
