The best case I've had, December 14, 2002
This review is from: Golf Club Travel Case (Platinum) (49.5"L x 14"W x 14"H)
I've had this case for just over a year. It is light easy to handle and has survived the airlines better than any of the three I've had. It is so good that I'm buying one for my son for Christmas.

Very Tough, still going strong after much abuse., June 28, 2010
I don't even remember how long ago I bought my Club Champ "Airporter" hard case - something like 15 years ago.
It's traveled the world as a golf bag, snorkel kit, hunting bag, fishing kit, book hauler, frozen food locker, you name it. I've even used it as a plain old suitcase, which is handy these days because you get 70 pounds of weight allowance for golf cases verses only 50 pounds for luggage. It is light and strong with padding on the clubhead end.
It has three locking latches, two strong handles, and rolls real well.
One caveat is the size. Honestly, for transporting golf bags it is a little on the small side. If you have a large bag with sculpted hard shapes it may not be big enough. It is truly designed for plain straight 12" bags, no more. I bought my golf bag and the "Airporter" at the same time just to make sure and it's worked great. The case itself has proven to be nearly indestructible. Alas, baggage handlers and inspectors have recently managed to screw up two of the latches and one handle. I've secured it with an old army belt the last few trips but I intend to contact the manufacturer for replacement hardware before my next outing. I recommend this case with the warning to check out the size issue or you may end up needing a smaller golf bag to fit it.
