No need for a long review here. If you like hitting a little white ball around in the grass, then this is your magazine. Chock full of info such as equipment reviews, instructional articles, tour news, golf-course ratings, as well as good photography, this is arguably the best of the best when it comes to golfing magazines. Golfers with bad shoulders might also be interested in Treat Your Own Rotator Cuff.

Over the many years that I have subscribed to Golf Digest, I've come across extremely useful information from world class teachers and the top players that has improved my game. In addition to appreciating the superb teaching article, I always look forward to the new product editions. Equally informative and entertaining are the various feature article and interviews. Golf Digest is simply the best golf magazine!

This magazine is simlpy the best, most authoritative magazine on golf on the planet. Everything you want to know about golf is right here. Head and shoulders above the rest. I reccommend it highly.

Golfers share many things in common and one of these is an often fanatical love for the game. For these types, nothing can take the place of heading to the nearest golf course, but Golf Digest comes very close. This magazine contains over 200 pages each month, dedicated exclusively to the sport of golf.
The things that set Golf Digest apart from the competition are the numerous articles about learning and improving your game and the personal stories and interviews. Other golfing publications attempt to help you learn, but they often get too mechanical. Golf Digest shows you how to improve your game with tips from professionals, including some of the star- studded members of the golfing elite like Tiger Woods.
Besides all the tips and tricks, Golf Digest also shows the personal side of the sport with interviews and more intimate stories about the many colorful personalities in the game. This personal dimension adds greatly to the magazine's overall appeal, providing great reading material to complement the more instructional side of the magazine.
Golfing Digest may not be as great as a day spent on your favorite golf course, but it comes close. I consider it the best publication of its kind and I recommend it to anyone with an interest in the game.

Apparently their marketing gurus thought that adding a fashion column and a gossip column would make the magazine better. Both of these "features" detract from the publication and waste space. {I've been a golfer for decades and clothing styles, fashions and gossip about "golf notables" never seems to be a part of any conversation among golfers I've heard on/off the course.} GD also has traded their objective equipment ratings for their so-called "hot list" - which amazingly enough seems to correlate highly with their big advertisers. Their "golf tip gang" is a pretty good one - though Leadbetter's tips seem to be less & less grounded in practicality these days [his loose, mechanical swing is less & less in vogue]. They have a contract with Tiger but none of his tips seem like new ideas and are likely ghost written anyway. Haney may be a top instuctor but by his own admission he has 'driver yips' and cannot demonstrate that part of the game. Harmon is excellent as are a number of other instructors. But, until GD gets back on course, they don't deserve a 5 or 4 star rating.

This order was supposed to be a renewal of a previous Amazon order; however, once again a renewal action through Amazon resulted in a "new" subscription with duplicate copies of the magazine for the subscription overlap period. This nearly always happens to me in spite of Amazon asserting that a magazine order (unless a gift to another) will automatically be applied as a renewal if existing subscription to the same magazine exists. This, they assert, will eliminate duplicate subscriptions, and is one of their value added services. Horse manure. Now, again, I must take my time to sort this out. My fault because I again trusted Amazon to do something which they have time and time again failed in the past to do for me.
