From Library Journal
This is an excellent book for the novice golfer. Ruthenberg, a golf professional at Michigan University's golf courses, is careful never to talk above his audience or assume foreknowledge. He divides the book into four parts: rules and general information, the golf swing, execution of shots, and tips on practicing and playing on the course. Included are extensive photographs and graphs (not seen) that are used to emphasize the instruction. The fine advice and reasonable price make this book a very attractive purchase for public libraries.
