Yes, the instructions are bizarre--written in some comically weird dialect only vaguely resembling English. But the thing goes together ok and the finished product is light, sturdy, and does what it's supposed to do. It arrived in 2 days. All the pieces where there and were labeled with numbered sticky dots, and (thanks to the warning by the previous reviewer) I spent a little time checking everything before starting. Hint: print out the two enlarged pictures of the item (front and side views) on the product site to use as guides, because the diagram that the instructions refer to was not in the box. Didn't really matter that much. Just look ahead a step before doing the one you're on. Helped me to avoid turning things around backwards, etc. Sometimes I changed the order of steps, because it seemed that it would make things easier. For example, I did step D before step C: I attached the long tube #4 to the top of the back piece #5 before fixing the ends of the #4 tube to the sides (#1 & 2) and the bottom of the back #5 to the floor piece #3. Whatever, for $40, a little creative, Zen-like instruction reading, and an hour and a half of my time, I've got what I wanted. One star deduction for the instructions. On the other hand, they are good for a laugh, especially if you read them out loud to a friend after you've finished. Go for it!

I missed out on the fun of deciphering the instructions--the first shipment was sent in the original package and it was beat to hell. The instructions and the long connecting rod that goes across the top and back of the unit were missing. I put the rack together regardless, and Amazon sent me another rack--this time packaged securely inside a larger box--from which I just took the missing rod and then sent back.

The rack itself is not terribly impressive--the metal is thin and the finish can be scratched somewhat easily--but it's adequate for storing my golf equipment. After all, I don't really need "museum quality" storage racks for that purpose!

I have uploaded a couple images here. One of the rack after it is completed and empty, and the other holding my bag and Clicgear cart. As a single guy, I just have one golf bag to store, but I was pleased to see my push cart fits in the other bay quite nicely.

In a nutshell, I'm not overwhelmed but I'm generally satisfied with this purchase.

when we opened the mangled box we found there was no hardware to put together the pieces. after a few back and forth emails with amazon they told us we could not get the screws and bolts but would have to return the whole thing and order another. Not sure I want to go through that again.

I purchased 2 of these and had no problems putting them together (took about 30 mins.) they look great and are just what I need to organize my families golf clubs and accessories.

This organizer is perfect for storing your clubs and all the other golf related stuff we accumulate. It keep your golf corner neat and tidy.

OK, the assembly instructions were a little convoluted, but all you have to do is refer to the photo. It comes with the wrench you need. I had it assembled in under 30 minutes.

It's well worth it for the price!

Okay, what's so hard about assembling this golf organizer? I did it. I'm not a mechanical engineer or rocket scientist. I'm a 54-year-old housewife with moderate mechanical skills. The process was fairly simple, really. It just requires moving beyond your pre-conceived ideas of how to utilize written instructions. Just follow this simple process and you'll find your own project will go much more smoothly: Read the instructions through twice. Yes, instructions need to be read. Maybe that lets out most men, huh? Then, the parts need to be identified and inventoried. The little stickers will need to be left on the parts until you're happy with your finished organizer. I put the various parts together finger-tight and tightened the whole piece once I knew everything was where it was intended to be. Total time: it took me all of a half-hour while I was watching the Golf Channel. Relax. Zen into it. Just like developing your swing, you need to let the project lead you to success. You can do it. And what a bargain! This organizer looks great!

bought it for Christmas for my husband. At first the instructions were missing, then the screws would not fit. After an hour putting it together (while looking at the picture from the box), the final product looks unstable. For the price of $99, we could have bought him a real sturdy shelf instead of this wobbly thing.

It's nice and sturdy but it came with no directions so we had to go by the pictures:(

This golf storage rack was perfect for us: a family of two golfers with no space to store all our golf stuff. Having received an Amazon gift card for Christmas and getting free shipping brought the price down considerably. After reading all the reviews, my only concern was whether I would be able to put it together. Most people found the instructions confusing or useless and boy, were they! By using the picture on the box I was able to put the rack together within a half hour; it is sturdy, unobtrusive and it fits nicely into a corner of the bedroom. Now when we come home from golfing, we put our bags and shoes away on the rack instead of leaving them in the living room.

I ordered this for my son-in-law for Christmas and boy was there a surprise waiting for him when he opened it. Two necessary pieces were missing from the box. It's hard to review it much further from that because it is unusable with these parts missing.
