Pro Am ? Would you like to know all the advice that a player like John Daly has for his Pro Am partners ? This is the book for you !
I've read this book as well as "My life in and out of the rough" and highly recommend them both. This is certainly a quick read with many tips on improving your golf game, some being very technical while others are just funny (but still useful). There are also recommendations on different ways to play/gamble/have fun with the game as well.
This book is a great follow up, or starter read for anyone who would like to get to know John Daly as a golfer or as a person. I found this book extremely well written and a joy to read. It actually had my laughing out loud at some of the amusing content.
I recommend this book to any sports/golf fan, anyone who would like to improve their golf game without putting to much effort into it, or anyone who has ever heard of John and would like to hear about some of his accomplishments and failures. It is a great book that should be in any golfers book collection!
Daly's tips and suggestions give evidence that beneath all the reckless buffoonery lies a talented player. Lots of good to very, very good tips and suggestions on how to approach and play the game.
Pick up a copy and I'm betting you too will discover the unexpected.

I liked it. He had some great tips. Unfortunately, he had to saturate the book with his screwed up life. Bob BlinnPublished 4 months ago by robert r. blinn

A good book for a few laughs. If you want a very good golf swing book then buy Four Magic Moves by Joe Dante.Published on May 30, 2013 by Charles E. Stephens
I'm not a golfer. My husband however is and John Daly is his favorite golfer ever. I didn't read his books for any tips on how to play but rather for a look at John Daly's life. Read morePublished on December 27, 2012 by Jennifer S
