5.0 out of 5 stars Husband loves it
My husband loves it - uses it everyday to unwind after work. Fairly easy to setup, but you definitely need two people when it comes time to stand it up. It's a large net and takes up a good amount of space, so make sure you have somewhere to put it so you're not having to take it down and put it back up again.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad net
Key issue for any hitting net: net stops balls. This net fails that test. I've had the net four weeks and have blasted two holes (i.e. tears) in the netting already. Weak and flimsy net. I'm ditching it and buying Izzo or Callaway.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works great for beginners, December 14, 2010

For people trying to get their wedges better and aim their trajectory, taking a 1/2 or quarter swing, or for taking a light drive into it to work on ball contact it works great. When I took a half swing with a 5 iron, I blew right through the net taking out a tree and couple of houses. Beginners need to stick with this item, advanced golfers look elsewhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars For the Troops, March 19, 2009

The chipping and driving net system is now being used in Afghanistan by American troops. They have e-mailed me and said that they are having a great time in their off duty hours driving and chipping balls. I will be purchasing more of these systems to send over to the troops.

5.0 out of 5 stars A backyard dream, February 6, 2011

I live in LA where a lot of the driving ranges are mat and not grass. Also, I have limited space. I was looking for a durable net that I can use on a weekly basis in my backyard.

I read some of the reviews concerning the durability of the net. The net is able to stop all of drives and iron shots while using either a wiffle golf ball or limited flight ball. I still don't understand why people are hitting real golf balls in their backyard. The kids have even used the larger net for soccer balls and wiffle baseballs.

The net is easily put together. I have not been using the inground stakes but rather flatening it out and dragging it into the garage. I have had no issues with the net and have recommended it to my friends.

update May 2012: We have have been really abusing the net with baseballs, soccer balls, tennis balls, and wiffle golf balls. The net is still as good as new. We have misplaced one of the stakes and the net will move when one of the larger balls is used.

1.0 out of 5 stars Be warned! Can drive holes, March 15, 2010

The set up was fairly easy although it takes a lot of space. The first time I used it I broke the rubber part of the small mat they give you. The second time I used it, I sent a 4 wood through the net and into the neighborhood somewhere (lucky, no broken windows). I am returning it. If a net doesn't stop the ball, it is unsafe to use. I don't hit the ball particularly hard (driver usually in the 250 yard range), so be forewarned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Golf practice net, November 5, 2009

The golf net was received in a week and was easy to set up. I like the flexible fibergalss rods that hold the unit up and it is designed well. The impact is easily absorbed and there is no danger of a ball coming back at you. Well worth the cost.

I've had the net for just a couple of days and have already blasted two holes through it. I wish now that I would have heeded the warnings of the other reviewers that spoke to this very matter. I would highly recommend avoiding this product if you produce decent club head speed (say 100 mph+). I'm sticking to my short irons until I can get my hands on some additional netting for reinforcement.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent net, February 29, 2012

This is a pretty good setup, There are people complaining about the net not stopping their balls but you are going to have that even with the Callaway and Izzo nets. They make practice balls that do the trick, stick with those and you'll be happy. The nets are pretty tricky to get together and is not something you'll want to take apart every time your done with it. I was able to set the big net up by myself and when I take it down I just pull out the 2 bottom pins and fold it close. I'm 6'2" so I can carry the net and it'll go right into the basement door. Under 6'2" you'll probably need help. Over all I'm quite pleased and it allows me to practice when I can't get to the range. I guess over all if you refuse to get practice balls you can always go get some blue tarp to string up for added protection, remember no net will stand the tests of time when up against a small rock hard object flying at it at over 100MPH.
