This is an absolutely wonderful book. Every page is an impeccable little exposition on an important component of finding joy in the game, loving the process, getting into the zone, learning to learn, being a better human being, and so on. It's not just a great golf book. I've bought 4 copies so far for pool players I know. It's almost exactly the same set of problems and demands as golf. I don't like sappy, platitude-ridden material. This stuff is right to the heart of the matter, and is not fluff. I'm going to read it again next year. |
