A great way to improve your golf mindset,

The physical stretching exercises illustrated in this book are great for strengthening your back and improving your balance. But golfers wants to go beyond a well-stretched and flexible body. Having a strong mental is equally as important. Of all sports golf can truly be a mental minefield. Golfers who don't grasp the nuances of the mental aspects of the game never master it and often give it up. By incorporating the essential elements of yoga that THE GOLFER'S BOOK OF YOGA presents, you can develop the concentration that golf demands. Learning the postures and breathing techniques is at the core of THE GOLFER'S BOOK OF YOGA. But first the reader will find chapters in which yoga is defined, the mind / body connection is discussed, the power of the breath is explored and the foundation qualities of the swing laid out. Time invested in the practice of Yoga will make your other time more valuable. Golf may indeed be "the greatest game ever created" And, the practice of yoga will prepare you to play it better and enjoy it even more.

Just what you need to get an edge on your golf game,

Based on all that I've read, yoga is the ideal companion activity for almost any competitive sport. I've always had trouble finding the time to practive it, though. What I loved about this book is that it's designed to help you launch a yoga practice that will fit your schedule and individual needs. It's a very practical guide that provides detailed and illustrated instructions for each posture and breathing technique. At theback of the book, fourteen days of lessons are presented with photographs and step-by-step directions, along with six short sessions that focus, in part, on pre-golf warm up. This book is exactly what I needed to start a yoga program and get an edge on my game.

I was excited to find a book that could give me the yoga foundation to take my game to the next level.The Golfers Book of Yoga promotes a mind and body approach to golf fitness that will notably enhance your game. It presents yoga in a clear accessible manner with the specific needs of the golfer in mind and offers a simple framework for improving your game by developing balance, coordination, strength, flexibility and concentration. This could definitely be the most important club in my bag.
