I am a low handicap player and thought this was the best scoring book I have ever read!I chipped in five times in the first two weeks after reading the book. The eleven ball drill is incredible. If you need work from 100 yards and in, this is a must read. If you don't need the work from 100 in...have fun on the PGA Tour this year.

I am professional golf teacher, and I was very impressed with "Golf's Red Zone Challenge". This book provides a starting point for a golfer, gives very good information and a test to track your progess. This book is very easy to read as it has a nice blend of pictures, instruction and drills. Whether you are a high handicapped player, casual golfer or aspiring competition player, you can improve with this book.

I've read over 30 golf books. This is by far the best. It's about the short game, but the pitching drills have improved my full swing dramatically.

I am an LPGA teaching professional and college coach. This book ignores all the crap and quick fixes I see people teaching and trying to use and creates habits that are vital to improvement. BY following this program with the help of an LPGA or PGA instructor you are guaranteed to drop strokes on your average.

This is, without a doubt, the best book to help you develop your short game. It gives a series of tips, of course, but much more. It lays out tests to derive a short game handicap for all aspects of your short game so you can see where to target and see your progress. It lays out a practice timetable with various levels of commitment so you can decide how much effort you want to expend for results. The beautiful pictures and colors make it really easy to follow the drills and techniques. Required reading in my opinion.

The point of this book is to get you to focus down on the short game and the scoring shots. From 100 yards, this is the book. This so much reminds me of another book I have, Tom Watsons book "Getting up and Down" which deals with 60 yards in. Ass that book sells S/H for about ten cents get both. But Chalie Kings book has a development programme straight for allthe research done into how to get good - all the 10,000 hours material. Its all about practice - not natural talent. So no excuses, just read the book, do one of the three programmes and you'll be cutting shots off your game for certain. And no I'm not a PGA pro or friend of Chalie - if you look at my profile you'll see I'm a guitar teacher - but perhaps it takes one teacher to recognise another good teacher, Charlie. I've used Chalie's methods and sseriously improved my short game to the extent my playing friends think my handicap is a joke when I'm playing short shots.

Good information, with practice drills, this is actually a training course.
12 week program to a better short game. Like any other aspect of golf, you have
to put in the time to improve and this book gives you a plan of action. It's up to
the reader to put in the time and effort. I like the book very much and plan to use
it for quit some time.
