5.0 out of 5 stars Golf's Red Zone Challenge
I am a low handicap player and thought this was the best scoring book I have ever read!I chipped in five times in the first two weeks after reading the book. The eleven ball drill is incredible. If you need work from 100 yards and in, this is a must read. If you don't need the work from 100 in...have fun on the PGA Tour this year.

2.0 out of 5 stars Big Disappointment
Having greatly benefited from Rob Akins articles in Golf Digest (Future Golf Swing & Turning Chest), I was looking forward to this book's release. I am very disappointed.

The book has very little detail instruction for the better player. It seems to be geared for the high handicapper. The book seems more concerned with tracking improvement than actually...

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, August 11, 2005
This review is from: Golf's Red Zone Challenge: A Breakthrough System to Track and Improve Your Short Game and Significantly Lower Your Scores (Paperback)
I've read over 30 golf books. This is by far the best. It's about the short game, but the pitching drills have improved my full swing dramatically.

I am professional golf teacher, and I was very impressed with "Golf's Red Zone Challenge". This book provides a starting point for a golfer, gives very good information and a test to track your progess. This book is very easy to read as it has a nice blend of pictures, instruction and drills. Whether you are a high handicapped player, casual golfer or aspiring competition player, you can improve with this book.

What a great approach to the game with easy to understand instructions that are easily implemented. After only one reading and 1 hour of practice, I almost broke 100. And after 20+ years of playing at this game, I'm looking forward to finally getting into the 90's!

This book offered nothing new. Lots of big pictures but nothing substantive. It was a waste of money. You can get more help from a monthly golf magazine.
