I like this WBCC record too but not as much as Horror. I got this after getting Horror only because I was so impressed with that record. I knew this was a different vocalist but liked the samples I heard and so, I picked it up. I am not disappointed in the music or the sound although the production screams "independant". Pretty good stuff here and it does sound consistant, style wise with Horror, the songs are just on the short side and the hooks of Horror are fewer and further between. I'm happy with the disc but would have liked to have another 20 minutes or so of music for my $. Nice debut, pick it up and then go get Horror if you want more and better.

I'd give it 5 stars but it's too short.,

This album, like a good caffeine buzz, is intense and fun but too short to be enjoyed properly. I listen to a tonne of Death Metal and other extremes in Metal so I know what I'm saying when I say the music is really good and the vocals are diverse and mostly intelligible. I would have given it a 5/5, but the album is too short.

This isn't going to be a long review as their isn't much here to review on. I saw these guys along with Carnifex back in December. They put on a good show, even though the music wasn't that original. So I decided to pick up this cd (their new one hadn't come out yet); though I must admit, it took me the longest time to get around to actually listening to this cd, for fear that I had wasted a good 10 dollars on it. Sadly, that was the case. This album contains some of the most unoriginal and mediocre deathcore ever put on a cd (something that plagues many of a deathcore bands). You have it all here, breakdowns, blast beats, average death growls, a somewhat gothenburg style rasping, and even some pig squeals. Now that wouldn't be too bad if their was some good song writing, but again, there is nothing of the like here. There is no memorable songs on this disk. Nothing caught my attention. Somewhat sad really. At least the cover art is good, though that is the only good thing about this cd.

this is BY FAR one of the best cds ive heard. to be so young these guys have loads of talent. also, mike has one of the strongest voices ive ever heard. i was at a show once and his mic got unplugged and i could still hear him. it was insane. anyways..you should DEFINATELY buy this cd because you will not be disappointed. if you want a preview, check em out on myspace or purevolume.
BUY IT!!

C'mon, Christian death metal? Lame. You don't have to be satanic per se, but a christian message in death metal is ridiculous. Surprised to see them touring with Carnifex (uh, HELL CHOSE ME....). The cd is pretty standard to say the least....nothing to write home about, except for that christian BS. Get anything by Rose Funeral, Dying Fetus or I Declare Ware instead....
