This game is like the game Othello for 4 players. Not a bad game concept, but this travel version is okay. I was looking for a travel game to play while "traveling" - at a restaurant, in a car, on my boat, waiting at a doctor's office, etc. This game is just a compact version that makes it easy to fold up and pack up. Once you are playing the game it is too easily jostled and the pieces get disrupted. No a bad strategy game but this small version is physically very sturdy. I cannot comment on the larger version as I do not own that.

I grew up with games called Othello or Peanut-butter and Jelly, but in this variation of the same concept, you can play up to four people in an innovative style. The travel one was just for the price, but a definite game for family nights or a bored day with friends. Easy to learn and quick to put away.
It comes with one extra piece, which was good because one of the pieces in my set was in pieces. I had to glue the colored edges back on, which was no big deal.

I should have paid more attention to the other review stating that the balls moved around too much. I like buying travel size games even for home because they take up much less space. However, this one isn't really good for travel or home as the balls roll around in the circles waaay too easily. I assumed the holes would be a bit of a tight fight or something underneath to hold them in place. However, that isn't the case at all and the colors can change just from having the edge of the game unit bumped.

In addition, the game unit can be a bit hard to open an close and as my 8 year old was opening it the other day it popped open in such a way that all the balls went flying everywhere. I expect we'll find a few under a few large furniture pieces whenever we move, and likely at least one was probably quickly swallowed up by our dog (who assumes everything is edible as most dogs seem to do...). So much for this game - can't even return it now that a few balls are missing.

SUMMARY: Don't bother, buy something else. Poorly made in such a way that it interferes with game play.
