Product Description

Tablet computers are fantastic marvels of technology; but they have a major limitation: the dominant interface with the device is usually limited to one's finger. While convenient for selecting applications and scrolling a web page; more precision-oriented tasks such as typing; notepad writing or freehand drawing can be more challenging. Gomadic's new precision tip capacitive stylus pen resolves this limitation in style. Built to mimic the pen-writing experience (e.g. weight; look and feel); the carefully designed 8.5 mm precision rubber tip provides a far more accurate and convenient user interface than your finger. Now you can write notes on your tablet; hunt and peck on the keyboard; or draw elaborate pictures and sketches; even during a cold day while wearing gloves! But be careful! All capacitive pens are NOT created equal. Pens come equipped with a variety of shapes and style tips and have varying degrees of quality. While some are ill-suited for writing or more precision oriented tasks; others have tips that will fall apart after only a few uses. Only Gomadic brand capacitive devices are guaranteed to look and feel like a pen and last forever. We back this up with our 30 day no questions asked money back guarantee and lifetime warranty! Go ahead and enjoy to the fullest the usability of your tablet today with our precision capacitive stylus!

This product is excellent. It arrived and was exactly as described. It functions perfectly on my Dell Venue Pro. I now can accurately and quickly enter text, select options and scroll the screen without error. The soft touchhead glides smoothly over the surface. It does not stick nor leave a mark. The short attached lanyard attaches firmly in the 3mm headphone jack and still comes out without issue when pulled. The pen will also fit in a pocket easily. Unlike the short pens that are hard to grip and use, this pen is just the right size and weight. It looks elegant and weighs just ounces. I recommend this product.

I purchased this item due to the info graphic provided by Gomadic that compared their stylus to other capacitive touch stylii. I had bought a stylus that looks identical to this one from Best Buy under their Rocket Fish brand however I found it to just flat suck. Exactly as the info-graphic showed it would draw lines that would continually seperate. Dragging objects was beyond a chore to the point you'd use your finger (entirely the opposite of why I wanted the stylus).

I returned the rocket fish product and purchased the Gomadic stylus with the hope that it's claims were completely legitimate. I am definitely pleased with my purchase and can vouch for the authenticity of their claims from the info-graphic. Don't waste your time with inferior products, purchase Gomadic.

This stylus was purchased for Dell Inspiron Duo (1090) [...] which is a convertible tablet and laptop. My goal is to have this device be a living whiteboard for our software development team. It was also purchased to run Basalmiq mock ups on it. The stylus will definitely be key in us having productivity with this device.

I purchased this stylus to use on my Droid X phone and Samsung Galaxy Tab. I selected this stylus specifically because of the "precision" descriptor, since most of the ones I've tried are only slightly better than using my fat fingertips. I didn't really find this to be much better, no more or less precise than any other stylus I've used. I do like the plastic gizmo that attaches it through the audio jack - nice way to keep track of it.

Thought this was great when I first received it, but after some use, the tip seems to have flattened out a bit or gotten squishier and doesn't do as good a job as it used to. Tip should be smaller and slightly denser. It does not leave black streaks on my Atrix, but it has a cheap black "paint job," which began being scraped off by I don't know what - maybe the side of my phone - nothing else was near it in my handbag. The lanyard with headphone jack attachment also worked very well for a while, but it quickly wore down with use and now pops out all the time with the smallest pressure. I've had it for 4-1/2 months. Disappointed.
