I haven't seen this show in years. While Gomer is a little sillier than I remembered, the show still works today. Sgt Carter is really a great character! I also like how they recycle characters. You will see one in one role and later playing a different character. Also I wonder why they couldn't settle on an assistant for the Sgt. It seems about every episode (I am on season 2 now) there is a different person playing the part. One was Jimmy Olsen from Superman! (Jack Larson) Anyway, this set has been very enjoyable so far. I am slowing down as I don't want to finish them all and have no more to watch! I bought seasons 1-3.

I highly recommend buying all 3 seasons of Gomer Pyle-USMC. This show makes me laugh endlessly, you will too. It's so funny! Enjoying all the episodes & can't wait for seasons 4 & 5 to come out on DVD.

Purchased these as a Christmas gift for my Dad and we have enjoyed watching them very much. Gomer vs Sgt. Carter is hilarious. I highly recommend these DVD's.

My husband and I enjoy watching the old Gomer Pyle shows. Even my teenagers are enjoying them. It's good clean fun for the whole family.

This was an excellent purchase. My mother and I have enjoyed going back in time watching Gomer, the Sarge and the Gang! The quality of these DVD'S are great! I have already placed my preorder for season 4. Can't wait for it to arrive and am waiting for more seasons to come! If you are looking for great family entertainment go ahead and purchase this box set.
