5.0 out of 5 stars A racing-hot read, May 25, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Gone in 60 Seconds Movie Tie-In (Paperback)
An excellent read. I manage to get my hands on a future release copy and it took my breath away. I have seen the original numerous times, and can't wait for the remake to come out, so I took a chance and read the book. And loved it. It's action-packed, with blood-racing thrills and crashes. A great read, I reccomend it to all. Great job!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fun, easy read, June 27, 2000
This review is from: Gone in 60 Seconds Movie Tie-In (Paperback)
This is a great book. It is great relaxation for the brain, it doesn't require much thought. This book, which is based on the screenplay, is action-packed. Young Kip gets himself into trouble as a car thief and he's about to pay for it, with his life. His brother, Memphis, is the "almighty" car thief. This guy is the best of the best, but he is retired. He comes out of retirement and recruits his old gang to "boost"(steal) 50 high-end exotic and luxury cars in the next 72 hours. The cars are outstanding, Lamborginis, Ferraris, Mercedes and the classic 1967 Mustang Shelby, a car Memphis has a long, complicated relationship with. This book is worth reading, you won't want to put it down.

4.0 out of 5 stars Read an entertaining movie!, May 22, 2002
This review is from: Gone in 60 Seconds Movie Tie-In (Paperback)
I enjoyed the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds," so I decided to read the book version. There are a couple added 'scenes,' but other than that, you're reading the movie! For some reason, I suggest you see the movie first, to better visualize what's going on. I recommend.
