Great fishing book for kids!
This book is great for my husband to read with my son - perfect for a fishing daddy and son! The book uses repitition and also has good pictures of fishing. It is hard to find books that have to do with fishing for kids, especially bass fishing! (At least we think that they are bass fishing...)

Disappointed
Though the concept is a good one, I try not to read this to my kids. As an English major, I was disappointed in this book. It's written mostly with incomplete sentences. Each page reads more like a caption to the accompanying picture than part of a story.

Gone Fishing,

We thoroughly enjoyed reading this picture book with our children and are now sharing it with our new nephew. The book emphasizes the joy of spending time together.
