This book has so many interesting stories about the first true movie stars. There are also a ton of pictures. The book transports the reader back to an exciting time in American history. The movie industry was a very important part of people's lives, not only as entertainment, but as an introduction to new places and lifestyles. I have bought several of these to give as gifts and the receiptants love the book as much as I do!
