I bought this for my 2 and 1/2 year old niece who has some physical disabilities and she loves it. She sits in it and even rolls to her belly and spins or rocks back and forth. Before we gave it to her, I took it out of the box to check it out and my 5 year old daughter couldn't keep her hands off of it! Great for exercise.

They haven't used it in the way I pictured, but they've gotten hours of fun out of this simple toy. They spin each other, hide in it under things, put toys in it and make lots of noise rolling them around. I don't think it make a great "rock-a-round" but I can't rate it too low because they love it and when I bring it out they spend a lot of time playing with it in creative ways!

What a disappointment!! My 3-year-old has a toy like this in his kindergym class and LOVES it! In the photo, the Rock and Roll appears to be about the same size. With winter setting in, I thought it would be a great addition to our indoor play items. It's perhaps 1/3 the depth of the one in class and hasn't nearly the play potential. Really, it's just a tad deeper than a snow disk. I should have saved my money. I'm very disappointed, and so is my son.
