A Must Have - Not the Limited Edition - Did You Catch It?,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Gonzo (Hardcover)
This is a must have for any fan...
This is a reprint version - ignore all of the limited edition descriptions (fancy Gonzo box, around a box with numbered print) in below 2006 reviews from the exceptionally lucky... This book came exactly how it's currently pictured ...and glorious in it's essence...

The Doctor would be proud.,
This review is from: Gonzo (Hardcover)
At first I was put off by the price. But the minute I opened the box that uncertainty disappeared. This is an amazing addition to my Thompson library and my library as a whole. The printing is limited to 3000 copies and I got # 2252. Not sure if they are going out in order but you might want to jump if you are toying with this dwindling opportunity. This is a book that will only gain in value over the years, a true collectors piece. The book comes in a cellophane sealed, hand numberer box. Inside that, the book is contained in a box of it's own. The book box is very sturdy and linen bound with the Gonzo dagger boldly stamped on the front. The book itself is print numbered on the rear cover.

Box? Picture? Individually Numbered?,
By
This review is from: Gonzo (Hardcover)
The review for this stated, "..this extraordinary package includes a specially designed box that contains the book and a limited edition gallery-quality photograph by Thompson. ...offering of only three thousand individually numbered copies available worldwide..." This was a gift for my wife: A huge Gonzo Fan, alomst of mythical proportions. Not too sure what happened to the box it was supposed to come in, or the Gallery-quality photgraph for that matter. Couldn't find anything indivually numbered except each page. Kinda like any book. However....Got her this and a Bukowski piece and Bukowski lays forgotten and she loves Gonzo. It is a beautiful book that inspires joy and laughter in someone who I know would have left me for Hunter in a heartbeat.
