Goldie is a Keeper!, November 25, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Good As Goldie (Hardcover)
This book had me and my 2-year old daughter giggling throughout at Goldie and her unique look at life with a baby brother. It came home with us in a stack of library books, but it's soon to be in our permanent collection of favorites!

Worth its weight in gold!, April 4, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Good As Goldie (Hardcover)
Goldie is destined to be a classic! She's a charming and independent preschooler with strong ideas on how much more mature she is than her younger brother. But the energetic and quirky illustrations suggest that there's more to the story than Goldie's perception of it. Little kids will love laughing at Goldie and her little brother and will enjoy feeling just slightly superior. This is one you'll read again and again and enjoy it each and every time.

Squelch New Baby Jealousy, October 17, 2000
This review is from: Good As Goldie (Hardcover)
This book explores sibling rivalry between a toddler and her baby brother. As a mother of a 2 year old and 4 month old, I know what it's like to see your child regress because of the arrival of a new baby. This book reminds the child of all the neat things that they can do that the baby can't. We changed the names of the characters in the book to reflect our family...my daughter got a big kick out of that (she also kind of looks like Goldie!). We loved this book and I'd recommend it to any newly "expanded" family.
