When I saw this item I knew I had to have it. I was hopeful and it did not disappoint me. My daughter can make & cut her own sandwiches with ease and enjoyment. The cutters will not puncture skin so a child can use them easily and without harming themselves. If you are worried about the waste of extra lunch meat or cheese that does not make it into the shape, then don't. There isn't much that is cut out and the little bit that is can make a nice snack for yourself or your pet. Personally, my cat loves it when we make turkey sandwiches because he gets a nibble. The colors are bright and fun and the shapes are great. I have the Pampered Chef's round cutter and I don't like it. These cutters blow the Pampered Chef's cutter away!!

Highly recommend for kids who won't eat crusts. Quick and easy. Does a good job at making a clean cut.

The heart and circle shapes cut great but the 'squares' dont cut as easily. The kids love the shapes and eat all of their sandwiches since they are fun.

Yeah, I fell for them too. I eventually realized that the heart-shaped cutter wasted a good deal of the sandwich, while the square, two-portion one (the red one in the pic) could not even slice through a PBandJ sandwich with ease. I'd rather get fancy with my secondhand and/or cheap knives that I already own. I cannot review the other two cutters present in this set, as I did not own them; but I at least want to inform others about the ones that I did own. And hey, sorry to break hearts, but gotta tell the truth.

We love this product!!! I have 3 kids (none of whom like crust). I use these everyday to make our sandwiches. The kids love the shapes, and I love it's ease of use and the fact that it "seals" the sides to make eating a little less messy.

From as far back as I can remember, I told my mom I didn't like crust, but she ALWAYS made me eat it. Now, at 29, and with a 2 year old son of my own, I STILL take the crust off every sandwich I ever make...whether it's for me or my boy. These cutters are MUCH easier at removing crusts, and tons more convenient when I need to cut a sandwich into fours. Made of light plastic, they cut through your sandwich quickly, and are easy to wipe clean (or you can put them in the dishwasher). While I thought the price + shipping was a bit much, I'd still recommend getting these. Great for kids, people who despise crust, or even tea sandwiches.

I bought these for a tea we had at work to appreciate our volunteers. We used them to cut cucumber sandwiches and egg salad sandwiches. A bit time consuming, but a bit less than cutting by hand would be. Worth purchasing, and I can hang on to these for future teas or sandwiches for kids. The only problem I had with these is I make a lot of homemade breads and they don't cut homemade bread as well--need to use storebought bread with these cutters. Nice, though.

These sandwich cutters are exactly what I was hoping they would be! They fit perfectly on the bread that I buy for my family (sandwich sized). I bought the red cutter years ago at a Babies r us but couldn't find it there recently after the poor dear finally gave out from so much use. I am thrilled to have the same red cutter again and three more to please my picky eater.

Bought these for the start of the year. An excellent purchase for a parent of a child who does not like crusts.

It is easy to use and makes lunch preparation very smooth.

Only downside, takes a decent amount of pressure to cut through the thicker breads. We only eat wheat or whole grain breads and it takes a bit of mommy muscle to cut all the way through.

I am a child care provider and I use these all the time, none of the kids like the crust it seems, and they love the fun shapes. Of course my own daughter loves them as well!
