This knock-knock joke book is a lot of fun. However, it focuses primarily on names, and twisting them into some silly punch lines, at quite a stretch. Many of them are names that are quite obsolete and my son didn't even realize that they were a name, and not just a silly word.

It's not quite what I was looking for, but the jokes are clean and fun. I just hope that I can find something geared toward a younger child that utilize more common words.

I selected this book because my pre-schooler is stuck on telling knock-knock jokes that simply aren't funny. I got this book hoping we would find some funny ones together but he only understands very few of the jokes listed in the book. It did not fulfill my expectation or need.

I thought the jokes in this book were very poor and would not recommend it. My 6 year old didn't get the play on names and I have to admit, most of them were a stretch.

My son (7 1/2) didn't get any of these jokes. We found 2 or 3. I'm returning the book. mostly the jokes are words trying to sound like other words.

Who's there?
Stu.
Stu who?
If the stu fits, wear it."

it's an expression he doesn't understand and it's just plain not funny to us. So, hopefully this helps you to decide if that's your brand of humor :)

My 7 year old boy enjoyed this book a lot. He likes the knock knock jokes because they're simple and funny.

My 6 year old son says "I like all the knock-knock jokes!" It's funny.

Me (ie the mom) says they are a bit tedious at time, but a real relief to find ones that are age appropriate.

Hillarious knock-knock jokes! Enjoyed by toddlers through adults. I use them at home and also in the classroom as a reward filler. The punch lines cover a wide variety of experience. I choose ones that are age appropriate to the audience I have. Great for riding in cars, too!

Most of the jokes are not good for younger kids - ages 4, 5, & 6. With this many jokes, some as tasteless and some just not very funny.

This book is an excellent joke book. I bought it for my grandchildren of various ages and they all enjoyed it and are still enjoying the jokes. They tell them all the time. A great thing about the book is that it is written on about a 4th grade level, which makes it very easy for kids to read! All in all, a great little book for a cheap price!!!

This is a simple elementary school age joke book with lots of silly material. It's great for first through fifth graders. I use it for Cub Scouts and the kids always get into it.
