I really enjoyed reading Good Cop, Bad Cop by authors Lily Harlem and Natalie Dae aka Harlem Dae. I'm a huge fan of stories involving men in uniform so the title intrigued me and I couldn't wait to see how this story would play out with Dillon, India and Jose. I admit that I did not like Dillon at first because he came off as too brash, rude, insensitive and a total jerk when he first discovered India hiding out on their boat. I didn't understand why he acted the way he did with her. On the other hand, I really liked Jose who was kind, understanding and treated India more respectfully as a woman. He was trying to recover from a painful event in his past and you couldn't help but feel his pain.

I did come to like Dillon as the story progressed and he acted like a human being rather than a unfeeling guy. I enjoyed how protective he became of India and his uncontrollable desire for India. The sex scene between him and India was really hot as Dillon divulged his inner need as well as the one between Jose and India, which was sexy and tender. OMG! I loved the threesome scene! It was filled with raw emotions and such passion that it scorched the pages! If it was any hotter, my body would be up in flames *fans self* Readers will definitely need to cool off after this scene.

I also liked India who was a strong heroine and she needed to be in order to handle Dillon. She was a tough gal and was not fazed by anything that came down or thrown in her direction like a bad guy that's stalking her or being treated poorly by Dillon. I loved the suspenseful elements and action sequences in this book which had me glued until I finished. Only a few authors can write in first person and have me enjoy the book and these two sure did.

India Moore is a Country & Western Singer who has achieved fame, fortune, and a stalker. After a night out with friends, she finds herself running for her life and ends up hiding on a boat. After being discovered the next day and treated like the stowaway she is with no special treatment, she realizes she is in the safest place she could be ... with a Good Cop and a Bad Cop, Jose and Dillon, whose reputations precede them in their real life roles. The trio enjoys the R&R on the ocean blue in some new and exciting ways.

This book gives new meaning to "quick and dirty" and was an enjoyable, quick, and steamy read. I enjoyed the plot of the book and was surprised by the villain. I had someone else pegged in the beginning. It should be noted there were two authors, but I couldn't tell which one was writing what part personally, so that was great for continuity. One issue I had was that India is a Country & Western singer, but she seems more diva from Cali who has never broken a nail instead of country girl with a great voice and a story to tell. Considering anyone can make it in the music industry in real life, that is fine, but when you type-cast someone it should be closer to reality. As a smut lover who loves it when sex comes together easily, the quickness of the sex and the combinations they enjoy doesn't detract from the story or truly seem far-fetched to me. It felt like they could have come together on dry land if that was how the story was told - the sex was believable for me and would make you wish you had stowed away as well. With this trio, there were endless possibilities.

I look forward to reading other works by both of these authors. I was given a preview copy in exchange for an honest review. Definitely a great beach, girl's trip getaway, or run from the kids for an hour or two read.

Good Cop, Bad Cop by Lily Harlem and Natalie Dae
These two are a powerful duo!
They compliment each others writing skills. This story has it all, a little danger, sailing the high seas and some seriously hot sex with two gorgeous men. How can you trust two men you just meet? Well India has no choice in the matter. She is on the boat ride of her life. This story will make you have to take a cold shower after reading it to cool you down. If you haven’t read any stories that these two women have written then you need to ASAP.

Good read, racy as hell. In some spot it is hard to follow, and some of the characterization is a little off. However the sex is written well and is HOT. Recommend reading it ALONE. rawr!

It could have been better! It just seemed rushed. I wish she had added more suspense and story. This is the second book I read by her and now I'm wondering if I should stop.

I love seeing the progression of the relationships. I really enjoy Lily's style of writing the menage relationships. It did make me want a sequel.

I really enjoyed this story of a scared and lonely country singer who quite by accident drops into the lives of two sexy cops on vacation.
Just when she needs them they are there for her.
Such a sweet story with a perfect amount of suspense to keep you guessing til the end!
Oh and the HEAT factor is off the charts!
