This CD has all the country gospel songs I remember from the small church I grew up in. I listen to a few of these songs and I'm in an upbeat mood the rest of the day. It was difficult for me to find the CD that had a broad selection of classic gospel sung in a classic country style, but I finally found it in this CD.

I got this collection for my husband several years ago as a cassette and he listened to it so much he finally broke the tape! I was thrilled to find it on CD to replace it, and got one for my Dad too who loves to sing along with gospel music like the Gaithers, et al. It has all the well-known favorites. If you like "O Brother, Where Art Thou," you'll love this collection. Even our 17 year old son (who prefers rock music) likes to sing along with these songs. Can someone say, "Amen!"

I've always liked country music in all its forms. One Sunday morning however I was driving to work and listening to the Aled Jones religious programme on Radio 2 when he played the Jerry Lee LEWIS gospel song, The Old Wooden Cross. I was blown away.I had never heared him sing that way before and thought it was beautiful, as did Aled Jones. I was determined to find out if I could get a copy. Sure enough it was available on Amazon,as part of the Good Old Country Gospel collection. It is brilliant.Believe it or not I am not particularly religious, But all the songs on this album are beautifully sang with obvious heartfelt feeling. A super album which will be played and played by me.

This is a Good Gospel CD. It would be a Great Gospel CD if it weren't for them throwing in some Bluegrass which twangs on my ears. Now, if you're a Bluegrass fan, you might well consider this a Great Gospel CD. I love to sing along while driving and this CD is good for that, having gospels everyone knows. I recommend this CD.

this is a great CD. I have put a lot of CDs on a USB port for my car and it just keeps delivering this great music.

This is a great product, I would recommend it to anyone who loves country gospel like I do.

After a really tough day, I pop this CD in and get swept away in the peace of the melodies

My mother enjoyed this product. I bought it for her as a gift.

I was very disappointed in CD. Way to hillbilly for me.
