Good Credit is Sexy is worth its price alone for the information it provides on protecting personal privacy. It tells where to write to stop the junk mail that arrives in the mailbox on a daily basis and how to stop unwanted sales calls from interrupting the peace and quiet of evenings at home. Along with these valuable addresses, the book contains addresses and phone numbers (often toll-free) for the credit bureaus, major credit card companies, student loan services, etc.

It clearly defines and explains the different types of consumer credit--student loans, credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and equity lines--along with the criteria used by companies in granting or rejecting credit applications.

The days of buying a car with cash are history for most of us. Credit is an integral part of our daily lives whether we like it or not. Good Credit is Sexy is a comprehensive reference book for those just starting to establish credit as well as for those who have been using credit for years. Add this one to your library.

I was very happy to happen upon this book while searching the Amaozon site. I've found the tone fun and sassy...which is just what you need when approaching the all too "depressing" subject of credit. Her description of the Fair Issac credit scoring system was very helpful. Following the book's instructions I have successfully removed a negative item from my credit report. If you're looking for a comprehensive book on credit I would recommend this one.

This is a great resource book. Creditors do not harrass me anymore. I really feel empowered after reading this. No I can not earse my credit, but if I had read this book before messing up my credit, I would have been a lot better off.

I bought this the moment I had the funds because there was something about addressing student loans. The author mentions student loans and just as quick refers us to the federal web site. I do feel like a chump.

For those in basic debt, buy only one of the series. There is some great infomation how to ferret out a fair accurate credit report.

The ebooks are repeatative and use a lot of paper and ink to print out.

As a Certified Credit Consultant and Author of Hidden Credit Repair Secrets, I found the book to be very detailed when it comes to topics on credit repair. My favorite topics in the book are when she talked about the time it takes to build and rebuild credit, why most lending companies will make you pay your outstanding debt when trying to get approved for a mortgage, which venders provide the credit bureaus with public records when you dispute a public record like an unpaid tax lien, how to dispute unauthorized charges with the creditor, when a student loan is considered in default by the lender, the statute of limitation on when a lender can collect on a defaulted student loan, and what a divorce decree mean to your credit. All in all, I give this book an A+

I really didn't know much about credit or how it works, but after I read this book (cover to cover, it's actually very easy to read) I started working on cleaning up my credit and it worked! I got a few debts taken off my report, cleared up a ton of erroneous entries and learned a lot of stuff that will help me in the future. The CD of sample letters is great, too.
